Eligibility: All competitors must hold a valid BJA, BJC or AJA licence and must present this when booking in on the day of the event. All players must wear a white judogi and have a blue and white belt.

Armlocks and Strangles are not permitted in categories C & D.

Method of Elimination
Pools to Knockout for groups of 7 or less, Knockout and Repechage for groups of 8 or more. The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine or alter categories if entries dictate.

Boys and Girls red belts, plus any yellow belt who has not won a gold medal in ANY individual competition
(excluding only events for members of own club only and team events).
All players will be sorted into categories of 4 or 5 where possible after weighing in. Every competitor shall
receive a medal. Every competitor except novices should have graded within the last 9 months.

Coventry Judo Club Red Belt Rumble for Boys

This event is a development event for players holding a Red belt with little
competition experience. The aim is to provide an opportunity for these players to experience competition in an enjoyable environment. This will be an open weight competition where players will be sorted into suitable pools of 4 (where possible) on the day.

Competitor information: All players should be under 14 and over 8 years old on the day. All competitors
must produce a valid BJA or affiliated association licence.
